Farm Animals: Most Residents at Hearing Support City Restrictions | Featured Story

BATAVIA — Locals mostly supported the proposed restrictions on farm animals in the city, during a public hearing on Monday night.

With the city council planning to vote Sept. 26 on an amendment to its code, several residents shared their concerns or thanked city leaders for considering the restriction. Others, who live on Burke Drive, said they were concerned and frustrated by someone whose animals allegedly caused trouble in the neighborhood.
